Hosein holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law. He was legal counsel to the Arbitration Center of Iran Chamber (ACIC) from 2008 to 2014. In particular, Hosein is an expert in ADR solutions commonly used in complex commercial disputes, namely arbitration, adjudication, and mediation.
In addition, he was the supervisor of ACIC’s education and research department from 2014 to 2016. He organized and managed many arbitration and dispute resolution seminars and workshops in Iran. He prepared articles, web stories, and other materials to promote dispute resolution methods.
He is also a member of the arbitration commission of ICC Iran. He has translated many legal documents to Persian, including ICC Force Measure and Hardship clause 2003, which is published by ICC Iran.
He is a member of the young arbitrators of ACIC. Moreover, he has served in several domestic and international arbitration cases, either as counsel or legal assistant.
In July 2016, Hosein Mohebi was appointed as Co-Registrar of the IUSCT.
